Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Great way to see Old Delhi” As I had a free day in Delhi I wanted to get out and see some of Old Delhi with someone local. Rajeev was a great guide, very relaxed and knowledgeable about a wide range of topics with of course the main one being food!!! :) Tried quite a lot of different foods including a fruit sandwich in a small out of the way place, icecream, and other things that I can't remember the names of :) I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see old Delhi. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r252007472-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Delicious experience” Fantanstic tour! Jaidev, the guide, was excellent. Thoughtful, funny, informative. Food was awesome - well worth it to get the tour rather than try to find eats on your own. He also showed me some secret spots with incredible views and we visited a beautiful temple. Highly recommend! http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r232231621-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Entertaining, Informative, and Flavorful” I took a cooking class in the morning, and my husband joined in the afternoon for a food tour. The cooking class was very "real" and simple so that we can replicate back home. The only thing that was missing was printed recipe. It was good to focus on hands-on activities, but recipes would definitely help to review and cook again later, which was actually extremely important to me. (It can be just my personal need, and they might have posted on their website by now. Back in April, it was not available.) Other than that, it was a fantastic experience. The food tour was awesome as well. We would join another one if we ever have a chance. We tried many types of food and they were all different: sweet to salty, BBQ'd to deep fried, meat to fruit, etc. They also explain background of their business, food history, culture, etc. Their passion to perfect service is also amazing. They were paying attention to the details of our casual conversation, and all our favorite dishes were served for the final dinner. Highly recommended. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r231774522-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Worth every cent, you'll love it” Having been on a number of food tours in SE Asian countries, I had set my own benchmark. Rajiv totally exceeded it, we were collected at our hotel at 2:30 pm and didn't return until 10:00. We tried a total of 32 different dishes during the day. Highlights were the rickshaws in old Delhi, the spice market, the Sikh temple( a beautiful experience)dinner on rajivs car bonnet and finally a mango ice cream at India gate on the way home. Not cheap , but worth every cent/ rupee http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r225361453-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Indian Food Recipe : Kheer | India Food Tour | Food Tours, Adventure Holidays & Sightseeing in India

Indian Food Recipe : Kheer Kheer Recipe http://indiafoodtour.com/indian-food-recipe-kheer-2/ Kheer is a famous dessert in the Indian cuisine. Kheer essentially means milk in Sanskrit. This mouth watering dessert is made from broken wheat, vermicelli or rice. You can choose as per your taste. You can add nuts and raisins to make it crunchier and add some saffron to it to get that beautiful color. Initially Kheer was originated in South India but later on it became famous all across India. Items required for preparing Kheer: 1 cup of milk Rice half cup or broken wheat or vermicelli (soaked and washed for 20 minutes) Soaked 20 strands of saffron in 2-3 tablespoon of hot milk. Green cardamoms – 8 – peeled and powdered. Sugar – 6-7 tablespoon. 14 almonds and 12 pistachios. How to prepare: Simmer the milk once it is boiled thoroughly. Grind rice or broken wheat coarsely so that it easily dissolves in the milk. Add milk to coarsely ground rice or wheat. Stir the milk thoroughly nonstop so that it does not stick to the pan. Boil till the milk thickens and the rice or wheat is boiled. Now remove the pan and add almonds and pistachios Serve it hot or cold. #indianfood #food #cooking #recipe

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Well Worth It” We did an extended food tour that incorporated some photography and were highly impressed by the food & our guide Jaidev. Most of the places we went to were completely out of the way and would never have found them ourselves. The quality of the food was outstanding and there was no 'Delhi belly' aftershock as the company has gone to great lengths to ensure that all places visited were 'safe'. Don't think twice, you will love it http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r235377923-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Excellent way to discover Delhi as foodie!” I had high expectations for this tour! I found the price a little high before, but it is totally worth it! It was not a problem for them that 2 other friends joined us on the tour. We were picked up in an airconditioned car by Jaidev who already provided us with his knowledge about the city. Raj took over when we arrived in old Delhi. We used all our senses: see, smell, taste... Try to eat less as possible that day, because everything we tried was so good and tasty. I think we have eaten tasty tasty 10/15 dishes at 5/6 different places - places you wouldn't know if you weren't living in Delhi! I still pity that I couldn't finnish the last food - I still dream about that delicious lambchop :-) As well as the mango icecream, milkshake, fruitsandwich, kebab, lentil samosa... The list is unlimited... Raj and Jaidev are really friendly and acknowledged. So if you want a good organized food tour in Delhi with well informed guides and go to the food places who have all this amazing platters, go with Jaidev and Raj and be converted to Foodism. I go again if I am back in Delhi :-) http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r222703294-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Best Food Tour in Delhi” We had a great time on this tour and were we able to try foods that we may not have otherwise. Raj was very knowledgeable and sensitive to various food requests (spiciness, vegetarian, etc.). I would highly recommend this tour, not only were we introduced to new foods but it was also an adventure exploring different parts of Delhi during the tour. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r208558593-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

"“Great cooking class and food tour” 25 June 2014 This food tour and cooking class was one of my best experiences in Delhi. I got to learn about the spices and common cooking techniques used in the Indian kitchen and Raj, the chef teaching me, encouraged me to try to get a hang on the spices and experiment a bit. A great introduction to cooking Indian food! I did the food tour on the same day, which was also a great experiences. I never would've found most of the places we visited on my own and learn about the dishes I tried. All in all, I had a great time.http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r211975513-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT"

All in all, I had a great time.http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r211975513-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT"
