The benefits of Yoga . Yoga means the wonderful union of mind, body and soul along with communion to Cosmic Consciousness. It aids in bringing peace to the mind, a blissful, happy state and internal harmony. This is an age-old Indian practice and hosts many benefits such as healing the body through Yoga postures (Yogasanas), higher awareness and clarity of the mind. These timeless traditions from the scriptures of India are designed to bring benefits for life. For those spiritually minded guests we offer a Yoga tour or class combined with Yoga foods. Yoga is a way of life rather than some postures. A great combination of art and science, Yoga shows you the way to a balanced life, with its blend of asanas and Yoga foods. Yoga food is essentially vegetarian food which is fresh, wholesome, nutritious and lightly spiced, where the natural benefits of the ingredients involved are preserved to a large extent. Instead on dividing the components of food into proteins, carbohydrates and fats, Yoga classifies food based on the life force or Prana it gives the body. These are called SATTVIC foods and they aid in purifying the body and mind #yoga #india #food #foodyoga https://plus.google.com/+FoodYogaNewDelhi

No other tour operator is even close to providing everything that we do. Additionally, most of our tours are more than 5-7 hours long. Even then, our prices are amongst the lowest. Cost for a single person tour is Rs 4500 ($ 72), but cost per person for a group of 2 or more tourists is just Rs 4000 ($ 65). Discounts are available for larger groups. 3) Highly customized food tours As our focus is on the individual guests instead of a large group of tourists consisting of mutual strangers, we design our tours around the guest instead of the other way around. No two city walk and food tours by us are exactly alike in terms of food, places visited etc. The food preferences of every single guest are taken in to account before suggesting or serving anything. This avoids situations like where a vegetarian guest is stuck in a larger group consisting of non-vegetarian strangers he/she never met before. #foodtour #culinarytours #foodwalk #indianfood #food #travel https://plus.google.com/communities/103245800787244441768

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

"“Highlight of my time in Delhi!” Delhi is big, hard to navigate and daunting to many tourists. When I was booking my holiday I was told by loads of people to skip Delhi. I am so glad that I didn't, because I would have missed out on this amazing tour. It's absolutely true that you don't need a lot of time in Delhi, but make sure you save yourself one day for this tour - and make sure you go on an empty stomach. The food on this tour was hands down the best food of my entire trip in India. We sampled about 18 dishes that were all so good and quite different than the food I'd had elsewhere. The real gems were the Old Delhi street food vendors. Without this tour I never would have trusted the street food, because how do you know which stall is safe?!?! Jaidev did and for that I am extremely grateful. This tour was about more than food though. It was about showing us the charm and the beauty of Old Delhi, it was about showcasing it's juxtaposition with New Delhi and it was taking us off the tourist track so we could see the real Delhi. If you have time, I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of my time in Delhi and I suspect it will also be yours. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r246464732-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT"

Key Things You Need to Know about Indian Food http://indiafoodtour.com/key-things-need-know-indian-food/ Indian food is known to be one of the most rich and delicious cuisines in the whole world. When you are traveling, you are bound to encounter some Indian food at the restaurants. Most people do not know how to make Indian food and therefore do not know much about it. Health benefits: Indian food is one of the healthiest in the world. It is made with very little oil and never animal fat. This means that it is not likely to result in high cholesterol blood content. This means that it is quite excellent for people who want to stay healthy and not experience cardiac diseases. This food is also made using a lot of spices and herbs. Most of these are known to have not only excellent taste, but they also have medicinal benefits. Some of the spices, such as turmeric, help in boosting the immune system. This means that by eating Indian food regularly, you are able to keep diseases at bay and live a healthy life. Main courses: Unlike other international cuisines which involve a lot of courses, Indian cuisine centers around one main course. This is either rice or bread. The variations in the dishes are brought about by the side servings which are numerous. Indian rice is made through different recipes so you do not feel like you are eating the same main dish every day. For example, you can have pulao rice, masala rice or turmeric rice. There are also a variety of Indian breads such as roti, naan or chapatti. These breads are sometimes made from whole grains and without any adding any fat making them healthy but still tasty. Meats: Indian food includes a wide range of meats apart from beef. However, most of the dishes are vegetarian with protein being obtained from other sources. Some of the popular protein sources for Indian foods include lentils, dried beans, chickpeas and black-eyed peas. This is one of the reasons why Indian food is considered to be quite healthy due to the extensive variety of vegetarian dishes. Spices: Indian foods are made using a lot of spices. Indian curries are quite hot and you may not be able to eat them if you are not used to having pepper in your food. Never the less, you can always make a special request to the chef to make your food without the pepper. This will take away a bit of the hotness but the other spices used will still maintain the flavor. Therefore, it is always advisable that you enquire from the server how spicy a dish is before ordering for it. Variety in recipes: Indian food is never prepared in the same way. Due to the wide variety of spices, you will find that each hotel and chef have their own secret recipes. Therefore, the same dish will taste quite different from one restaurant to another. This is one of the most intriguing things about Indian food and continues to make it a favorite

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“An absolutely fantastic experience” We spent around 6 hours with Jaidev and enjoyed every minute of it. We ate things and ate in places that we wouldn't have dared to try without the guidance of such an expert with local knowledge. This was an experience we won't forget. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r236741916-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#REVIEWS

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Fun and unique!” This was a very fun tour! I have a sensitive stomach, but nothing was too spicy and I didn't get sick. We tasted some very yummy things. Very fun walking tour of old Delhi, in areas a regular tourist wouldn't know of. The tour of the temple kitchen was also great. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r241550321-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Great way to see Old Delhi” As I had a free day in Delhi I wanted to get out and see some of Old Delhi with someone local. Rajeev was a great guide, very relaxed and knowledgeable about a wide range of topics with of course the main one being food!!! :) Tried quite a lot of different foods including a fruit sandwich in a small out of the way place, icecream, and other things that I can't remember the names of :) I would definitely recommend this tour if you want to see old Delhi. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r252007472-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

“Delicious experience” Fantanstic tour! Jaidev, the guide, was excellent. Thoughtful, funny, informative. Food was awesome - well worth it to get the tour rather than try to find eats on your own. Review of Indian Food Tours in Delhi

“Entertaining, Informative, and Flavorful” I took a cooking class in the morning, and my husband joined in the afternoon for a food tour. The cooking class was very "real" and simple so that we can replicate back home. The only thing that was missing was printed recipe. It was good to focus on hands-on activities, but recipes would definitely help to review and cook again later, which was actually extremely important to me. (It can be just my personal need, and they might have posted on their website by now. Back in April, it was not available.) Other than that, it was a fantastic experience. The food tour was awesome as well. We would join another one if we ever have a chance. We tried many types of food and they were all different: sweet to salty, BBQ'd to deep fried, meat to fruit, etc. They also explain background of their business, food history, culture, etc. Their passion to perfect service is also amazing. They were paying attention to the details of our casual conversation, and all our favorite dishes were served for the final dinner. Highly recommended. http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r231774522-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

“Worth every cent, you'll love it” Having been on a number of food tours in SE Asian countries, I had set my own benchmark. Rajiv totally exceeded it, we were collected at our hotel at 2:30 pm and didn't return until 10:00. We tried a total of 32 different dishes during the day. Highlights were the rickshaws in old Delhi, the spice market, the Sikh temple( a beautiful experience)dinner on rajivs car bonnet and finally a mango ice cream at India gate on the way home. Not cheap , but worth every cent/ rupee http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r225361453-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT

Not cheap , but worth every cent/ rupee http://www.tripadvisor.in/ShowUserReviews-g304551-d3879008-r225361453-Indian_Food_Tours_in_Delhi-New_Delhi_National_Capital_Territory_of_Delhi.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT
